We're back in Kiev at our favorite cultural venue, McD's. The flights were good but after our last experience the bar is set pretty low. All we require for happiness is a vomitless flight. Alexiy picked us up so Jillian got her first taste of the local driving. It's fun to watch somebody else discover their own mortality.
We talked to Nastya and the big news that Olga, the inspector in Schors, was fired. I don't want to say too much about "why" she was fired until I'm sure. Nastya doesn't think this will impact our adoption but she plans on talking to her tomorrow.
We had trouble contacting Julianna but finally got her late in the day. She was dancing so evidently didn't have her phone. She was very happy that we are here and will see her tomorrow. She did say "I wait" which she says every time we talk to her. Hopefully this will be the last time.
We're going to get a taxi tomorrow morning so we can take Jillian to the souvenir area. After this we head to Schors.

Glad you made it with an uneventful flight (no sick people next to you). Hope everything goes well. Enjoy the souvenir shopping. Love you all.
Can't wait here... we will need lots of updates. What time is your court date... can you translate into Pacific Daylight Time?
Their court date is at 11 AM Tuesday morning, that is 1 AM Tuesday morning our time!
Okay, how are you guys holding up? Just about 13 more hours and then you're done. Good Luck, hang on, it's a wild ride but worth it. I won't be up when it all happens, but I will check my computer at about 3 in the afternoon, your time.
When will you be coming home?
Vomitless is always good. That and no one who looks/sounds like they have the Swine flu...I am still partial to my N95 mask for above reasons when flying. Ughhh...
Nothing like Alexiy's driving. Someone about nearly removed his driver's side mirror and he barely glanced their way. Calm cucumber that one.
Glad you got there safe and sound with no "ash" delays!
Thinking of your family,
Okay my friends, it's been 12 hours... either things went very badly and you can't write yet, or just the opposite. I have been sticking my nose into a comp;uter since 5 o'clock this morning. Do I have a new Purvis to embrace?
Scott
Hi Scott...
Called Ted and Diane earlier today. They were playing cards with Julianna. Ted said the court will make the decision tomorrow. He felt that everything was favorable. I'm sure they will rejoice when they get the word.
